Welcome to the online portfolio of Dawn Marie Kelley (that's me). Ask me what I am and the immediate answer I will give is storyteller. I like to tell a good story. And while writing was where it all started for me, it is not my sole outlet as a storyteller. I enjoy creating stories in many different ways. Rather it's making the right calls at the right time as a Stage Manager or Directing a story from behind the camera, I enjoy the work of making ideas of the imagination come to life.

Fairy Dust Completes 2 out of 6 Days of Filming…
After a whole summer of development and pre-production, Fairy Dust : Tale of a Dystopia has completed two out of six days of filming. The journey has begun. The Fairy Dust Production Family Increases
Well Z*con has wrapped and my time at Wolf Trap has ended and a new adventure begins for me at Studio Theater in DC, but that’s not all…an amazing new project is underway.
My Production Company, Twisted Quill, is teaming up not only with Freelance artist Kat Brenowitz for Fairy Dust: Tale of a Dystopia. We’re also teaming up with husband and wife film production team Jessica and Joshua Goodyear.
I had the pleasure of going to college with Jessica Goodyear. She has a booming career going in the film production field with her business partner, Chris Hartlove (the products of the Production Company Hartlove/Goodyear can be seen here). Jes and her husband Josh also work on projects together as the Liquid Squid Production Team.
